Our insurance practice provides seasoned counsel and litigation services to insurance companies and corporations throughout the Western and Midwestern states. We bring expertise across dozens of policy types and coverage lines, including general liability, commercial and personal auto, rideshare, businessowners, professional liability, errors and omissions, environmental, OCIP, and umbrella policies, as well as claims-made and occurrence-based forms. We regularly provide national and international carriers with coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and assistance in corresponding with insureds and other insurers. When necessary, we pursue rescission, reformation, and declaratory relief actions to resolve complex coverage disputes in state and federal courts.

We advise clients on their duty to defend and indemnify in cases involving significant injury, property damage, construction defects, advertising injury, and business torts. Our attorneys also represent insurers in disputes with other carriers, enforcing tenders and handling excess carrier claims against primary carriers. We work closely with clients to evaluate coverage exposure, prioritize interests, and develop practical, client-focused strategies for defense and resolution.

Our expertise extends to residential and specialized property losses caused by construction, design, and engineering defects, natural disasters, earth movement, explosions, fires, collapses, water intrusion, and theft. We conduct thorough investigations through examinations under oath (EUOs) and collaborate with forensic experts and special investigation units (SIUs) to properly assess and adjust claims.
