  • Jacob Elsner joined Montgomery | Amatuzio as an attorney in 2024. Before joining the firm, he gained experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers in state and federal courts, handling matters involving bodily injury, premises liability, and construction disputes. His practice now focuses on civil defense, advising clients on risk management, coverage disputes, and high-exposure litigation.

    Throughout his career, Jacob has successfully handled a wide range of complex cases, including defending, individuals, businesses, and property owners in auto negligence, premises liability and construction defect claims. He has extensive experience navigating contractual disputes and indemnification issues, often focusing on pre-litigation resolution and strategic case management to secure favorable outcomes for his clients. Additionally, Jacob has represented businesses in commercial litigation, ensuring that legal strategies align with broader business objectives.

    Beyond his legal career, Jacob enjoys making the most of Colorado’s outdoors, whether snowboarding, hiking, or camping. A former collegiate rugby player, he remains passionate about sports and is a dedicated fan of all things Chicago. When he’s not in the office, he can often be found exploring the mountains or enjoying a game at a local park.
