| Lateral Attorneys
We are a nationally recognized law firm proud to represent a client base that encompasses individuals, businesses, insurance carriers, and construction professionals, including more than ten Fortune 500 companies. We are always interested in connecting with talented and experienced attorneys who can contribute to the continued success and growth of our practice, with particular interest in candidates who have experience in the industries we serve.
Our firm offers an environment that emphasizes collaboration, client service, and professional development. Lateral attorneys benefit from immediate client exposure and a generous annual bonus program. Qualified laterals will have the opportunity to manage their own client-facing caseload in coordination with partners and are given meaningful opportunities to engage in trial advocacy, motion practice, appellate work, and insurance coverage work.
We maintain reasonable billable hour expectations to promote attorney well-being and professional satisfaction, and we proudly support pro bono initiatives throughout Colorado. Above all, we are committed to building a workplace where attorneys want to grow their careers. Our firm culture includes monthly in-office happy hours, annual events such as a firm-wide crawfish boil, and regular team outings to local events, including Colorado Rockies games.
Lateral attorneys should be licensed to practice in Colorado, our primary jurisdiction. As a regional law firm, we cover the costs associated with obtaining licensure in New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and the related federal courts.
Our benefits package is designed to support long-term success and well-being. Benefits include health, vision, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance. We offer a 401(k) plan with an automatic firm contribution, paid membership in the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and access to a national fitness chain connected to our office building. Additional perks include annual attorney retreats, paid covered parking, and cloud-based systems that support a hybrid work environment. All attorneys are provided with a private office featuring a window view from our twelfth-floor suite, which offers sweeping views of the Denver skyline and the Front Range. We also offer untracked paid time off and trust our attorneys to manage their schedules while consistently delivering high-quality client service.
