Michael Glisson Jr.

Michael Glisson Jr. joined Montgomery | Amatuzio in 2026 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Michael gained experience working for civil litigation firms handling personal injury matters, where he drafted pleadings, motions, and discovery, conducted legal research in support of briefs and memoranda, and worked directly with clients. He also developed advocacy experience through participation in mock trial competitions, including one as a coach, and through work in a legal clinic, further strengthening his litigation and courtroom skills.

Michael’s practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense, representing businesses, insurers, and individuals in a broad range of disputes. He approaches each matter with a detail-oriented and practical mindset, emphasizing clear communication, thorough legal analysis, and efficient case management. Michael is committed to helping clients navigate complex litigation matters while pursuing strategic and cost-effective resolutions aligned with their goals.

While attending law school, Michael earned a certificate in Animal Law, studied abroad in Sorrento, and served as Vice President of the Denver University Law Outdoor Club (DULOC). He also studied international business in Milan while completing his undergraduate education at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Hailing from Edwardsville, Michael is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Bulls, and the Los Angeles Rams, although he wishes the Rams were still in St. Louis. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and playing soccer.
