| Recent Graduates

We recognize that rising talent is the future of the legal community, and we are committed to developing the next generation of lawyers. As we continue to grow, we seek to connect with recent law school graduates and Colorado bar applicants who are eager to build a strong foundation for a successful legal career.

We offer a dynamic environment that prioritizes hands-on learning and professional growth. New attorneys benefit from a structured mentorship program designed to provide meaningful guidance, support, and feedback during the early years of practice. From day one, new attorneys collaborate with attorneys and partners across more than thirty core practice areas. Our goal is to equip new lawyers with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to thrive in litigation and client advocacy.

Rather than limiting attorneys to a single niche, we provide broad exposure across practice areas and case types. New lawyers have the opportunity to work directly with every partner at the firm, fostering a well-rounded experience and helping them identify where their interests and strengths align.

Unlike larger firms where associates are often siloed, our attorneys are empowered to take ownership of their work from the outset. They actively participate in client meetings, court appearances, depositions, strategy sessions, mediations, and trials, while receiving substantive training in motion practice, trial preparation, and insurance coverage analysis. This hands-on experience is reinforced with real-time feedback and direct partner mentorship, ensuring each attorney develops both the confidence and judgment required to succeed in complex litigation.

We maintain reasonable billable hour expectations designed to promote long-term professional satisfaction and attorney well-being. We also proudly support pro bono initiatives throughout Colorado and encourage attorneys at every level to contribute meaningfully to those efforts.

Above all, culture matters. Ours is collaborative, engaged, and genuinely enjoyable. From monthly in-office happy hours to annual traditions like our firm-wide crawfish boil, along with regular outings to Colorado Rockies games and other local events, we make time to connect beyond the office. New attorneys are welcomed into that culture from day one and encouraged to participate fully as valued members of the team.

Our benefits include health, vision, and dental coverage, long-term disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with an automatic firm contribution. We provide paid membership in the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, access to a national fitness center located in our building, annual attorney retreats, and paid covered parking. Every attorney enjoys a private office with a window view from our twelfth-floor suite, featuring panoramic views of the Denver skyline and the Front Range. We also offer untracked paid time off, grounded in trust and flexibility.

And yes, for the record, we subscribe to Westlaw.
