| Recent Graduates
We recognize that rising talent is the future of the legal community, and we are committed to developing the next generation of lawyers. As we continue to grow, we seek to connect with recent law school graduates and Colorado bar applicants who are eager to build a strong foundation for a successful legal career.
We offer a dynamic environment that prioritizes mentorship, hands-on learning, and professional growth. New attorneys benefit from a structured mentorship program designed to provide meaningful guidance, support, and feedback during the early years of practice. From day one, new attorneys collaborate with experienced attorneys and partners across more than thirty core practice areas. Our goal is to equip new lawyers with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to thrive in litigation and client advocacy.
Rather than limiting attorneys to a single niche, we provide broad exposure across multiple practice areas and case types. New attorneys have the opportunity to work directly with each partner at the firm, fostering a well-rounded experience and helping them identify where their interests and strengths align.
Unlike larger firms where associates may feel siloed, our attorneys here are encouraged to take ownership of their work. They participate in client meetings, court appearances, depositions, strategy sessions, mediations and trial, and receive substantive training in motion practice, trial preparation, and insurance coverage issues. This training is paired with real-time feedback and support from partners invested in their development.
We maintain reasonable billable hour expectations to support long-term professional satisfaction and attorney well-being. We also proudly support pro bono initiatives across Colorado and encourage attorneys at all levels to participate. Above all, firm culture matters. Our culture includes monthly in-office happy hours, annual events such as a firm-wide crawfish boil, and regular team outings to Colorado Rockies games and other local events. New attorneys are welcomed into that culture and encouraged to engage fully as valued members of the team.
Our benefits package includes health, vision, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with an automatic firm contribution. We provide paid membership in the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, access to a national fitness chain located in our building, annual attorney retreats, and paid covered parking. All attorneys receive a private office with a window view from our twelfth-floor suite, offering panoramic views of the Denver skyline and the Front Range.
And yes, for the record, we use Westlaw.
