Zachary Musgrove joined Montgomery | Amatuzio in 2022 after law school and has built a civil practice representing businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in state and federal courts throughout the Rocky Mountain region. In addition to litigation, he serves as coverage counsel for many insurance carriers, applying his research and writing skills to advise clients on their obligations under a range of policies across jurisdictions.
Zac’s insurance coverage practice regularly involves untangling complex claims arising from single occurrences that implicate multiple insureds and layered policies, as well as matters involving distinct incidents across policy periods. His litigation practice includes a broad spectrum of disputes, ranging from construction defect to professional liability matters. Zac is also a strong legal writer and researcher, and his work has played a key role in securing favorable rulings on dispositive motions, including the dismissal of statutory bad faith claims under C.R.S. §§ 10-3-1115 and 1116.
Zac is committed to providing efficient and precise claim analysis for his clients, whether through coverage evaluations or litigation risk management. His primary objective is to help clients navigate challenges with minimal disruption or discomfort while effectively managing risk.
Outside the office, Zac enjoys skiing, golfing, attending Rockies games, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and spending time with his wife and dog.
